Garbage Route To Run Day After Thanksgiving

The City of Freeman’s garbage collection route serving properties south of Sixth Street will not be impacted by the Thanksgiving holiday. While offices at City Hall will be closed in observance of the holiday on Thursday & Friday, November 24 & 25, the November 25 garbage route will still run as usual.

A reminder, however, that the Friday route will begin at 5 AM on Friday, November 18. This is earlier than usual. As always, placing garbage containers at the curb the night before helps to ensure pick up.
